Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. After achieving fame through his role on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor was featured in over 20 feature movies like The Core. Apart from his appearances as a character in the film, Qualls has played in 22 different TV programs like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls had been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14 and has been fighting it ever since. After two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. The treatment was so early that it had a severe influence on the body and stunted his growth. When he began acting, financially secure, it was his goal because he had seen poverty throughout his early years. I've been living so cheaply over the years that I need been able to enjoy that financial security or the world feels out of control for me he said in an interview. He looks back on his childhood, and has an urge to do something against bullying. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. He says that his ideal character would be a dad in both reality and in film. But he admits Directors don't have me as a character. It's a dream to be one day a parent himself, when you can spend much less time working and dedicate it to his children.
